Noah Spence – DE – Eastern Kentucky
We’re all very well aware of the issues that got Spence kicked out of Ohio State and landed him at Eastern Kentucky. We’re also aware of the face that Spence has been asked to be drug tested constantly to prove he learned from his mistakes and isn’t the same naive youngster he once was.
Good enough for me.
Spence was the most talked about prospect at the Senior Bowl due in large part to dominating, not just in the game, but in practices. Spence’s stock has skyrocketed over the past few months and he’s often been connected with the Bucs as a likely destination. In his college career, Spence has 20 sacks, 8.5 with Ohio State and 11.5 in one year with Eastern Kentucky. Along with 125 total tackles, Spence had 37.5 tackles for loss (22.5 in one season at EKU), and four forced fumbles.
Spence can be a huge addition to this defensive line and he brings a nastiness with him the Bucs are sorely lacking.
