LB. UCLA. Myles Jack. 5. player. 52.

The 2015 Jaguars team was a much improved offensive squad, and a defense which did little other than frustrate an already frustrated fan base. Of course, the rookie camp injury of their first round pick Dante Fowler Jr. didn’t help matters.

He will be returning in 2016, and joining the field with him will be Tashaun Gipson, Malik Jackson, and Prince Amukamara as members of a rebuilt defense.

The only group the Jags haven’t taken care of is the linebackers, and Myles Jack out of UCLA is the solution. Jack has been cleared for workouts, and should be ready for contact before camps start in late summer.

The athletic, intelligent, and versatile player impressed during his collegiate career and should do much of the same at the NFL level. It’s not often a player like Jack comes around, and he fits the mold Jacksonville is trying to cast for their team.

In an off-season filled with new names and faces, this one will not rank low on the impact he will make. This franchise has put themselves in position to be big winners, or big losers, but drafting this Bruin will help ensure they don’t walk out of 2016 looking like overrated spenders.
