Jarran Reed from Alabama is a championship-caliber defensive lineman who can shift to any position on the line and still find success.

The New Orleans Saints are looking to recapture some championship aspirations and need to bolster their defense to do it.

There is d-line talent available in this year’s class, so the Saints are in a situation where taking the best guy makes the most sense.

Reed simultaneously fills two holes as the Saints need interior and exterior line help for their defense. Shifting him based on formations and situations will help improve one of the league’s worst defenses from 2015.

Previous Pick:  A’Shawn Robinson – DT – Alabama

Next: 13. Miami Dolphins
