player. 30. . QB. North Dakota State. Carson Wentz. 20

With quarterback options dwindling down this off-season, the Jets seem more and more determined to wait out the market and force Ryan Fitzpatrick to return for less than he wants.

Call it business, or call it whatever, but it’ll probably work. This opens the door for Carson Wentz to join “Gang Green” and gives him a year to learn and develop from one of the smartest quarterbacks in the game.

Brandon Marshall isn’t quite ready for “Fitz-Magic” to disappear, but when it comes time for him to retire, Marshall will be happy they have Wentz waiting in the wings.

*Earlier I discussed the potential for Tampa to trade out of the 9th spot and into the 20th. As it currently sits, and if the Buccaneers were picking here, they should be looking at defensive tackle prospect Andrew Billings from Baylor.
