. DT. Louisiana Tech. Vernon Butler. 25. player. 55

With the return of William Gay, the Steelers can afford to wait until the second round to find him some cornerback help.

What they can’t wait for is front end help. Cameron Heyward looks like a mainstay on Pittsburgh’s defensive line, but what they are missing is a run-stuffing nose tackle.

Vernon Butler from Louisiana Tech is just such a player, and his strength combined with raw effort will fit the Steelers just fine.

Adding him should enable Heyward to improve even more than he has thus far, and is a step in the right direction for a defense looking to bring back their dominant spirit.
