36. . OT. Indiana. Jason Spriggs. 26. player
Bradley Sowell and J’Marcus Webb were looking for new homes for a reason, and it wasn’t the fact they were too high-priced. They’re depth pieces, and can’t be trusted long-term to protect Russell Wilson, or secure running lanes for Thomas Rawls.
Jason Spriggs from Indiana is obviously younger than the other two, but he’s also better. While he is going to need some work to become a truly effective NFL tackle, Wilson possesses the athleticism to help cover-up his lineman’s mistakes.
It won’t be an ideal situation for Spriggs or the Seahawks, but keeping Wilson healthy is paramount, and this is the best solution.
