John Elway and the Denver Broncos will certainly be looking for the next great quarterback in team history.

The stories of Connor Cook not being a regular captain at Michigan State have been overblown, and seem to come straight out of the plot for “Draft Day”. However, Elway is no Kevin Costner, and Cook doesn’t have P. Diddy as an agent.

Cook has the intangibles needed to develop into an NFL quarterback, and having Gary Kubiak at the controls will only help his growth.

Mark Sanchez should be good enough to keep the Broncos from forcing him in this year, but starting in 2017 this selection should give Denver a winning quarterback to lead their offense.
