The decision on whether or not Josh Gordon will return in 2016 has yet to be made. However, the team needs wide receiver help with or without him.

Michael Thomas is under-appreciated due to his limited production in Ohio State’s run-first, then second, and maybe throw… never mind just run-third offense.

Early reports of his work-ethic should have subsided by now, and his route running during his Pro Day looked crisp.

Thomas is a project, but the Browns have time. Meanwhile, he’ll give RGIII a legitimate target who can go up for high balls or break quick on short ones. If Gordon returns then the Browns will have the beginnings to an explosive offense.  Regardless, Thomas can be the Browns receiver of the future.
