As much as the Giants and their fans want Victor Cruz to be healthy and never struggle with injury again, it just isn’t happening.

Odell Beckham Jr. needs a running mate and the running game in New York would benefit greatly by forcing the defense to cover the entire field instead of just the half ODB is running on.

Laquon Treadwell is a big powerful receiver with big-time jumping ability and the body control to fight for the ball in the air.  He’s lacking the elite speed, but the Giants don’t need it.

Much has been done to improve the Giants’ defense, and the draft is full of defensive playmakers to allow them to improve even further.  What’s missing is a deep pool of offensive weapons who can truly transform a team.

Treadwell and ODB will potentially give Eli Manning the best receiving duo he’s ever had, and in time they’ll compete to be the best receiver pairing any Manning has ever had.
