With B.J. Raji sitting out 2016 and maybe even longer, the Packers need to fill the void left in the middle and do it quickly.
Andrew Billings is the closest thing to a Raji 2.0 they’re going to find in this draft, and he’ll at least be able to step in and keep the defense relevant.
Green Bay was decimated by injury in 2015 and losing Raji is a punch to the gut they just couln’t afford at this point. However, it’s the situation they’re in, and fortunately for them there’s a player available to help cushion the blow.
