Karl Joseph from West Virginia would probably be the choice here if it weren’t for an injury suffered last season.
However, as it sits the Panthers can use this opportunity to secure their defense for years to come by picking Emmanuel Ogbah from Oklahoma State.
Charles Johnson is returning, but it’s most likely for his last season in the league, and then Ogbah would be waiting in the shadows to step forward for the Carolina defense.
Drafting a safety or offensive lineman later will be necessary, but securing the talents of Ogbah here would be a win in the first round.
