Just when we thought the saga in San Francisco was nearing an end it seems there was never a real shot at Colin Kaepernick moving to Denver in the first place.

As long as Kap remains a 49er then the team needs to build a roster around him.  The franchise has repeatedly said they want him as their quarterback, and new head coach Chip Kelly has echoed the sentiment.

Much like in Cleveland, drafting a quarterback here doesn’t make things better, it makes them worse.

With Baltimore passing on an offensive tackle to take the best true corner in the draft, the 49ers should jump at Ronnie Stanley out of Notre Dame.

The offensive line in San Fran was a joke and losing Alex Boone only makes it worse.  Zane Beadles is a good flier to take, but adding Stanley gives Kaepernick a chance to make some plays.
