Number Four: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons – Sep. 11

It’s kick-off weekend. It’s hard to not get amped up for the first week of real football for the 2016 season. For this opener, the Bucs take on division rival Atlanta. The last time the Bucs traveled to Georgia, it was just day after the death of linebacker Kwon Alexander’s brother. It was that week that we began to see the emergence of Alexander and Winston’s leadership as the Bucs escaped with a gritty overtime victory.

It’s important the Bucs get off to a good start against Atlanta, especially since they travel to Arizona the following week to start 2016 with two consecutive road games, then face Denver and Carolina within the following three weeks. A win in Atlanta to open the season could go a long way to getting the ball rolling for this new coaching staff and young team.
