16. player. 50. . WR. Ole Miss. Laquon Treadwell

Replacing Calvin Johnson will not be easy, and will not be completed by simply drafting a wide receiver.

Admittedly, Josh Doctson is my top receiver this year, but I feel like I’m the minority on this one and the Lions will go with Laquon Treadwell from Ole Miss.

Treadwell will fit nicely in an offense featuring Golden Tate and Marvin Jones as his partners in crime.  Matthew Stafford still won’t be happy, but he’ll be a little less upset.

The Lions’ passing game will be adequate, and given some well-placed picks later in the draft, Detroit could compete again sooner than expected.
