While the Cleveland Browns will no doubt be in talks with other teams for the rights to pick second overall, the pick currently sits in northern Ohio.

Jalen Ramsey from Florida State is the best player in the draft this year and looks like a defensive player who could become a re-birth for whatever team gets him.

For the Browns, they need a transformative player and need to capitalize on the big time potential Ramsey has.

Cleveland will need more than just Ramsey to make their team great, again but he’s a key player who can become a catalyst for their future and leader on their defense for over a decade.

Whether he plays the cornerback position or moves to safety, Ramsey will be a leader for a franchise in need of many. Some fans will be disappointed as they pass on Carson Wentz but will be happy with what they get once the pads start popping.

Previously:  Jalen Ramsey – CB – Florida State

Next: 3. San Diego Chargers
