QB. Michigan State. Connor Cook. 29. player. 32.

Two things are certain in Arizona: The Cardinals are legit competitors in the NFC, and they have no replacement for Carson Palmer, who will turn 37 during the 2016 season.

Many have Paxton Lynch higher on their boards than Michigan State quarterback Connor Cook, but for Arizona, Cook is the pick.

In order to keep the team competitive for life after Palmer, they need to bring in a pro-style quarterback who can be mentored by a seasoned pro.

Cook fits the mold better than Lynch, and will lead the Cardinals into the next decade of football in Arizona once Palmer hangs it up.
