The Bucs will Take Two Linebackers

Don’t get me wrong, we all know that the Bucs are not vacant at the linebacker position.  Kwon Alexander and Lavonte David are two of the top players on the football team.  They will be, finances permitting, stars for the Bucs for a very long time.  However, behind them, they don’t have much.  If you remove Daryl Smith‘s 121 tackles, the rest of the Bucs’ linebackers posted 14 tackles in 2015, and that is far from good enough.

The group needs quality depth to keep its top players fresh.

One player to keep an eye on in particular is Deion Jones.  He’s got the aggressive mindset of his former teammate Kwon Alexander, and the ability to match.  Jones recently told us he would be excited about re-joining Kwon, and look for his name to be potentially called on day two.
