Taylor Lewan looks like a long-term solution on the left side of the Titans’ offensive line and now it’s time for Tennessee to give their franchise quarterback even more protection.
Michigan State’s Jack Conklin has all of the makings of an NFL right tackle and should be able to come in from the beginning and lower the number of sacks allowed from a league high 54 in 2015.
The result of the sacks was Marcus Mariota missing four games due to injury. Ask the Cowboys, a franchise quarterback needs to be on the field. Drafting Conklin helps the Titans keep theirs where they need him longer.
