The Falcons need linebacker help in the form of an athletic playmaker who can support in run stopping and pass coverage at the same time.
Darron Lee from Ohio State is just the kind of linebacker needed in Atlanta and he’s a system fit which makes him make that much more sense.
Roaming the field Lee can terrorize opposing quarterbacks and has the tackling skills and aggressive nature to hit the gap and meet running backs at the point of attack.
His ability to play inside or outside will give the Falcons some flexibility in how they use him within their scheme, but no matter what, Lee will have an impact starting in year one.
