20. player. 30. . LB. Alabama. Reggie Ragland

The second Alabama player taken is also the second from the defense and one more who should make a year one impact on his roster.

The Jets need an upgrade inside of their linebacker corps and Reggie Ragland from the Crimson Tide has the tools and ability to instantly improve the unit.

Playing against Tom Brady twice a year means facing a Patriots offense which exploits the middle of the field as good as any team in recent memory.  Placing a smart and talented linebacker like Ragland in the space will give the Jets a fighting chance against the Pats, and everyone else too.
