Back-to-back Alabama prospects and National Champions give Washington the brains of their offensive line and the key to helping Kirk Cousins be successful in his reign as the Redskins franchise quarterback with the selection of Ryan Kelly.

Protecting the signal caller cannot be understated and is absolutely crucial to the team becoming regular contenders for the NFC East crown.

In 2015, the Redskins benefited greatly from Cowboys’ and Giants’ teams which were impacted by injuries and an Eagles’ team decimated by a toxic environment and mass exodus of key talent.

Moving forward, the franchise will need to get some key pieces in so they can compete when their division rivals are healthy and prepared.
