2016 NFL Mock Draft 9.0: Last Call
It was a war of attrition in Pittsburgh for the 2015 season as injuries seemed to mount all season. Keeping franchise cornerstones Ben Roethlisberger and Le’Veon Bell healthy needs to be a priority, and adding capable blockers in front of them will help with the cause.
Germain Ifedi from Texas A&M is one of the draft’s most underrated prospects as an offensive lineman with both interior and exterior line experience.
Obviously the Steelers will want to lock him into one spot once they get to camp, but knowing they have a talent with the ability to succeed at any spot on the line will open up possibilities for the team to scheme the best chance of keeping their guys healthier a little longer in 2016.
