If there’s any team in the league equipped to bring on a player who looks the part without the production at this position it’s Kansas City. With Marcus Peters and Eric Berry helping to secure the defensive backfield, they can mentor and aid in the development of Alexander immediately.
He may not come in and be the same talent level of Sean Smith who departed for Oakland, but if he’s as good as his tape looks and he can secure some interceptions, then the Chiefs could have back-to-back Defensive Rookie of the Year players in their secondary.
