Vernon Hargreaves – Cornerback – University of Florida

Now, those of you now familiar with me and my feelings on the draft know this is my least favorite option in the draft. That being said, I understand the Bucs still need help in the secondary, especially if Alterraun Verner and Johnthan Banks don’t play up to the potential the coaching staff is hoping for.

Hargreaves is a very real option for the Bucs at nine, just like the secondary is guaranteed to be addressed in this draft. Hargreaves is a talented guy, but I don’t feel he’s “top-ten” talented. He went up against NFL talent and didn’t fare very well, especially against Amari Cooper. Now, luckily for those in the “Draft VH3” camp, the Bucs dont care about my opinion, so they may just get their guy.
