Joey Bosa – Defensive End – Ohio State

The hype is real, folks. Yes, there is a true, legitimate shot at Bosa falling in Tampa Bay’s lap. If you told me that a month ago, I would’ve laughed in your face. Now, it may very well happen.

Look, there is no question this guy is every bit the real deal and no question that the Bucs truly stand a chance to get him. I’d be shocked if there was any argument against taking Bosa at nine. In fact, it may be hard to find an argument to not trade up for him. Bosa was a projected top overall pick for quite a while before things started getting crazy. Getting him at nine? That’s Christmas come early!

You all know the story; no double digit sack players since Simeon Rice in 2007. A revolving door of failed defensive ends in Tampa Bay since. Bosa immediately makes this team better and makes this defense one to contend with. For those who want a better secondary, well, Bosa helps that too.
