The “Monsters of the Midway” need some nasty brought back to Chicago. And that’s exactly what Robinson is: nasty. A young man that can spear-head the front for the Bears can help, not only get to the quarterback, but can also stop the run. Facing off against Eddie Lacy and Adrian Peterson, stopping the run should be the number one priority.
This Bears defense was putrid last season and are in desperate need of a face lift. Despite the flash and glamour of the skill positions or the rules that now favor the quarterbacks and receivers, this game is still won and lost in the trenches. Building around a mammoth like Robinson sets up to send the Bears in the right direction. For a team that could stand toe to toe with the Packers not too long ago, Chicago needs a quick turnaround before their window closes.
