2016 NFL Mock Draft: Yarcho Mocks The First Round
By James Yarcho

. Defensive Tackle. Ole Miss. Robert Nkemdiche. 16. player. 50
Another defensive lineman gone. Robert Nkemdiche may be one of the most talented linemen in this draft but suffered a drop due to “off field issues”, which really weren’t much of an issue at all. The Lions’ defensive line has suffered since the departure of Ndamuknog Suh’s departure and Nkemdiche gives them the kind of player they’ve been missing.
Lining him up along with Haloti Ngata and Ziggy Ansah makes that Lions front four terrifying. The need to replace Calvin Johnson is there, but you won’t find a receiver in this class that can truly replace him. Instead, focus on stopping Aaron Rodgers and Teddy Bridgewater. Detroit can address receiver later since the difference in talent level among this crop isn’t very different.
Plus, isn’t it fun to think that Detroit media would have to go from writing “Ndamukong” to “Nkemdiche”?
