Defensive End. Clemson. Kevin Dodd. 19. player. 16.
Rex Ryan loves defensive linemen about as much as he loves corners. Taking a chance on a high ceiling, albeit low floor, guy is nothing new when it comes to Ryan. He’s going to give his brother, Rob Ryan, a new weapon on defense (that Rob will likely screw up en route to another record setting last-place defense) to try and replace the loss of Mario Williams.
Dodd is raw. Extremely gifted and athletic, but raw. Under the right coaching he can become one of the better ends in the division, but it’s a risk. Ryan has never shied away from a challenge so I don’t see him shying away from this one. Unfortunately for Bills fans, Rob is still the one calling the shots here, so the odds aren’t good that the defense will be successful. Dodd could very well go as high as the mid-teens, but could also fall all the way to the early teens in the second round. Buffalo seems like a logical fit for him.
