2016 NFL Mock Draft: Yarcho Mocks The First Round
By James Yarcho
In the second, of what will likely be multiple trades, the Philadelphia Eagles move up from eight to two, sending the Cleveland Browns a treasure chest of picks. The Eagles are apparently not sold on Sam Bradford, despite their claims otherwise, and wanted to ensure that the Chargers, Browns, or 49ers didn’t take the top-rated quarterback prospect ahead of them.
Carson Wentz is an interesting player. He played very well, most of the time, against second-tier competition. He has the size and intangibles, but does that really mean he is going to be a success worthy of the second overall pick at the next level? That’s what the Eagles are banking on. They are trying to shed themselves of the stink left behind by Chip Kelly and if this doesn’t work, it’ll be like he never left.
