Yes, I’m fully aware that the Cowboys have both of their starting defensive ends suspended for the first four games. Are you aware that their running game is relying on Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris? This was a team that was the most dominant in the run game with DeMarco Murray and now they settle for Morris and McFadden. No. Drafting Elliott immediately makes this offense arguably the best in the NFL. He’s a dominant power runner, with speed, who can catch out of the backfield and make blocks. That’s a perfect fit for Dallas. Romo spent 2015 getting his brains, collar bone, and every other body part smashed out of him because defenses knew they didn’t have to worry about, nor respect, the run. They could pin their ears back and let ‘er rip. Zeke changes that. Immediately.

But wait, there’s more…

Drafting Zeke is the most Jerry Jones thing ever. Why? Well, what does Jerry love more than anything in the whole world? Money. What player is going to excite the fan base, sell tickets, sell jerseys more than Zeke at number four? None. Why? Because NFL fans love offense! They want scoring. They want excitement. Believe what you will, but Jones probably couldn’t care less about another ring. He wants his face on TV, butts in the seats, and money in his pocket. If he gets his way, Zeke is the pick here.
