Does anyone ever have any idea what in the world Chip Kelly is going to do? For a team without a quarterback, or so we think, at least whoever that quarterback ends up being will be protected for a long time. Another franchise left tackle goes in the top ten and it shouldn’t come as any surprise. Teams are constantly on the lookout for a player like this, so if one falls in your lap you should take advantage.

San Francisco is not going to turn it around this year alone, but Stanley is a solid building block for the franchise. Whether they get things worked out with Colin Kaepernick or draft someone else over the next two years, Stanley is a great pick for the Niners. Not the “sexy” pick, but the right one.
