183. player. 48. . Cornerback. Auburn. Jonathan Jones

Plagued by injuries, including a broken ankle, a pulled hamstring, and enduring foot surgery, Jones is a raw, developmental talent that could provide depth, but not likely to see the field in 2016. Jones is quick to recover if a receiver hits him with a double move and has speed to recover when beat on a deep route. He closes on the ball quickly and efficiently, allowing him to break up passes consistently.

However, he finds himself confused at times in zone coverages and isn’t good in run defense. Jones finds it very difficult to shed blocks down the field and is a liability if there is a ball carrier heading towards him in the open field. Jones can be a solid nickel corner in the future, but will take some time to get there.
