Safety-(4)

Chris Conte, Bradley McDougald, Ryan Smith, Keith Tandy

Chris Conte and Bradley McDougald started for the Bucs last year and will continue to do so this year.  With two interceptions each in 2015, they have earned the right to stay in place.  Ryan Smith is a versatile secondary player the Bucs’ drafted in the 4th round.  Although he played corner in college, the expectation is for him to stick at safety in the new defensive scheme.  Keith Tandy is a backup who has always showed great value in limited playing time, and also because of his versatility he will keep his job.
