Week 1 vs. Tennessee Titans

Fantasy Stats:

Passing: 210 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT

Rushing: 18 yards, 0 TD, 0 Fumbles Lost

Total Points: 14 pts

Every Bucs’ fan remembers the fateful first pass which signaled what would prove to be a long, long day for the top pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and the first of ten losses for Tampa Bay.

After the game some began speculating Marcus Mariota was the better prospect while others simply chalked it up to first game nerves on the part of Winston and held on to a “it’s a long season” type of mentality.

For the week, the rookie placed 16th among active quarterbacks, which is hard to believe considering the struggles experienced throughout the game which ended with the Titans winning 42-14.

Both touchdown passes by Winston were to tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins and it would turn out they would be half of the total touchdown production for the second year player who struggled throughout 2015 with injury problems.
