The Bucs would get a burst from one of their rookie starters, but it wasn’t the one they expected.

Just after losing his little brother, rookie linebacker Kwon Alexander – who had already shocked the NFL world by claiming the starting middle linebacker position in training camp – came into the team’s matchup in Atlanta with more than just competition driving him.

Saying later that he had wanted to make his brother proud, he did just that with a performance which inspired the team and their fan base simultaneously.

Winston on the other hand, was showing his ability to secure the football and make smart plays as he marked his third straight game without a turnover.

A 14th place finish for the week among NFL quarterbacks didn’t do him any favors in the eye of fantasy owners, but it was clear the rookie was learning quickly what he needed to do to give his team a chance to win.

Finished Right Below: Jay Cutler – Chicago Bears
