Continuity on Offense

Young players need continuity.  Young quarterbacks ESPECIALLY need continuity.  It’s rough enough for players to learn the game coming out of school.  Changing schemes on them each year can be dangerous.  Ask Mark Sanchez?  He played for three different offensive coordinators up in New York, and the world saw what happened to him.  He became the “butt” of many unfortunate jokes.

It was a record-setting year for the Bucs’ offense.  They set a franchise record with 6,014 net yards last year.  Jameis Winston became one of three quarterbacks to throw for 4,000 yards as a rookie.  Doug Martin got back to his early form, finishing second in the league in rushing.  Dirk Koetter had this offense on the right track.

Promoting him to head coach simply makes sense.
