Cameron Brate

Brate came into the league the same year as Seferian-Jenkins, signing as an undrafted free agent.  We didn’t see much from him as a rookie, with only one reception for 17 yards.  Last year, he carved out a solid niche with Winston, who targeted Brate 30 times, resulting in 23 receptions for 288 yards and three touchdowns.

They aren’t huge numbers, but Brate was consistent.  Starting with the October 25th game against the Redskins, he posted at least one reception in every game the rest of the way.  Now that is a player that a young quarterback can rely on.

At 6’5″, Brate is a very appealing option, either as a duo with “ASJ” or on his own if he is hurt again.
