The Las Vegas oddsmakers have released the spreads earlier this week. The Bucs were a 6-10 team last season but the odds show they haven’t improved enough to make an impact on their spreads. I think the spreads should be a little different.

The Vegas oddsmakers have spoken and they don’t like the Bucs chances of improvement. They only have the Bucs winning in four games and are in a pick-em in two. Having this team win only between four and six games is fairly disappointing. They managed six wins last season under Lovie Smith. Dirk Koetter is new to the head coaching game but he brought along a strong coaching staff and with the assistance of his friend and former boss Mike Smith the Bucs should easily be improved. I won’t go further into the my feelings on the oddsmakers because earlier this week Editor Alan Schechter discussed that very well here. I know the Bucs are better and that not just fanatical optimism. The Bucs are a team on the rise and I will tell you what I believe the spreads should be.
