Week 1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons

Vegas Spread: Falcons (-3)

The Buccaneers start the season against a division foe and our head coaches and defensive coordinators old team. The Bucs are coming off a season where the swept the Falcons and looked better overall in both games. The fact that this is the season opener and is in Atlanta, I can see why the oddsmakers are giving the Falcons the slight edge. But with the Buccaneers improving across the board on defense this game should be more interesting. Falcons didn’t get worse by signing center Alex Mack, wide receiver Mohamed Sanu and drafting safety Keanu Neal but they didn’t improve as much across the board as the Bucs did. The Bucs should keep it close and this will be one of the better week one games.

My Prediction: Pickem
