Week 5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers (MNF)

Vegas prediction: Panthers (-10)

The Buccaneers return to Monday Night Football for the first time in three years against division rival Carolina. Schedule makers didn’t give them any help scheduling both Superbowl teams in back to back weeks. The Panthers are still the best in the NFC South but they did lose a major piece on defense in Josh Norman. But what they lost of defense they regain on offense by getting a healthy Kelvin Benjamin back from injured reserve. The Bucs lost to the Panthers both times last season. If they want any hope of gaining support from oddsmakers they’ll need to prove it in the first couple weeks. Primetime division games are usually tighter than they show so I think we will have a really good game and Vegas will lower the spread by gameday.

My Prediction: Carolina (-6.5)
