Weakness or Strength

To wrap up the question whether the Bucs have a weakness or a strength with the defensive line this year, I vote strength.  The Bucs managed to bring in a true havoc of a player in Robert Ayers Jr. which could help both the Bucs on the field, but also help in tutoring the young Bucs on the roster.

With the right guidance and scheme, the sky is the limit for some of the Bucs’ youngsters, especially for the second round draft pick Spence, who has all the tools to become an elite pass rusher.  The depth across the trench seems to finally be there for the Bucs, and this will make Gerald McCoy very happy.  No longer will our captain have to do it all.

A new defensive coordinator, a new defensive scheme and motto (thank the heavens).  The defensive of the Bucs is looking good, at least on paper.  Let us all hope they can live up to the “best defense ever” comment Lavonte David said, but it all starts up front. The Bucs may finally have a strength in the defensive line.
