Week Twelve: vs. Seattle

This one might be a curious choice to some of you, but hear me out.

We know how good the Seahawks are, and have been.  According to Sheil Kapadia of ESPN, coach Pete Carroll believes that the current “Legion of Boom” might be the most flexible ever.  Richard Sherman and company will give Winston all he can handle, we can all count on that.  The defense is as tough as they come, and Russell Wilson will always be a formidable opponent.

But, the team is beatable.  They are a run-first team.  Last year, Seattle was third in the league in rushing but only 20th in passing.  No Bucs’ fan needs to be reminded about the trouble the team had stopping the ball in the air last year.  What the Bucs WERE good at last year was stopping the run, ranking 11th in the league.  Other than Doug Baldwin, who is only 5’10” by the way, no Seattle receiver is particularly scary.

This team is built to play into Tampa’s strengths.  If they come into this one with five or six wins, this game will be huge.  Imagine if they can pull the upset at home.  It’s a big game, and they have the ability to get it done.
