Gerald McCoy Breaks Double-Digit Sacks

It’s the year for Gerald McCoy, ladies and gentlemen.

Well, it’s not like he has been bad.  McCoy has been selected to the last four Pro Bowls and posted sack totals as high as 9.5.  Over the last two years, he has posted back to back 8.5 sack seasons.  He has been a force and has been near that double-digit total for a while.

He also has done it with no help.

This year, McCoy has help.  In comes Robert Ayers, who is coming off of a career-high in sacks with nine.  Don’t forget about Noah Spence either.  He enters the league with the potential to cause serious damage in the backfield.  Even if he doesn’t put up big numbers, he and Ayers will draw attention away from McCoy.

Watch McCoy take an even greater step in 2016.
