Roberto Aguayo Will Be the Difference in Multiple Games

The Bucs’ kicking game has been bad.  I don’t think this is news to any fans sitting in Bucs Nation reading this post.  Connor Barth posted a FG percentage of 82.1% in 2015.  In a short sampling, Kyle Brindza posted a 50% field goal percentage.  Neither of those numbers are any good.  Special teams can make the difference between a mediocre team and a good team.

We want a good team.

Roberto Aguayo never missed an extra point.  Never.  Never is a long time.  With extra points now from 33 yards out, accuracy is important.  Aguayo hasn’t missed a kick from under 40 yards either.  He is the picture of automatic.

This is not a Bucs’ team that is going to blow a lot of teams out.  They are a run first team with a young quarterback that is focused on not turning the ball over.  Many games will be close.  Aguayo will have the chance to, and will make a difference in multiple games.
