The 2015 version of the Buccaneers defense was not nearly as improved as fans and the franchise had hoped.  Head coach Lovie Smith was brought in to give the Bucs a renewed defensive identity similar to the one he built in Chicago years earlier, and failed to do so.

By bringing in several former Bears and some youthful talent itching for opportunities, Smith looked to capitalize on the abilities of Pro-Bowler Gerald McCoy and 2015 Pro-Bowl selection Lavonte David.

While they may not have been a fantasy target for most league owners and daily fantasy players, the Tampa defense did have some good moments. Here we take a look at their week-to-week fantasy impact and finish off with a look to 2016.
