Another former defensive tackle for the Bucs makes the list of four without jobs.  Bowers is a former coveted second rounder for the Bucs who never amounted to the expectations of a day two draft choice.  Over the previous couple seasons Bowers found himself on an off the roster, and 2015 was no different.  Bowers was unable to make the final roster during the last cuts in preseason and went through almost the entire year jobless.

To his luck, Bowers was once again re-signed by the Bucs in December and was able to play in the final three games.  In those three games, Bowers logged three tackles, and was able to do his part to the best of his abilities.  Bowers, of all players that the Bucs let walk this offseason, is the least surprising.  As previously stated Bowers has been on and off the Bucs, and has seen little interest from other teams.

So why at such young age have teams given up on him?  Bowers is only 26, and it is quite interesting to see no former coaches give him any recommendations or opportunities?

The best bet is that it is finally time that Da’Quan Bowers is forced to hang it up.
