1. Patrick Peterson

Number one is a talented punt returner, but also the best corner on the schedule and only getting better.

Patrick Peterson was the fifth overall pick of the Cardinals in the 2011 draft.  A highly touted rookie out of LSU, Peterson has done nothing to disappoint.  After a modest, two interception performance as a rookie, he took the league by storm in 2012 with seven interceptions.  He has never posted less than two interceptions in a season, and has been selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his five career seasons.

He can also break a game as a punt returner, taking four punts back for touchdowns in his career.  If he doesn’t beat you on defense, which he does a lot, he can beat you on special teams.

His PFF grade overall was an 86.9, ranking him fifth among NFL cornerbacks.  His cover skills are superb, earning him a grade of 87.1.  The Cardinals may be known for a high-powered offense, but they cannot be ignored on defense either, especially Peterson.
