Quarterback Play
The quarterbacks have not been great so far. Even Jameis Winston, who has thrown two touchdown passes in the early games, has only managed to complete 52% of his passes. Especially in the second game, Jameis was not sharp, going a mere 3-10 for 28 yards, one touchdown and a bad interception. The first team offense has not been sharp.
Mike Glennon has been a little bit better with the accuracy, completing 54% so far. If he is auditioning for other teams, however, he needs to raise that number. Any NFL fan knows that the watermark that quarterbacks are judged is 60% completion. Whether Glennon ends up staying in Tampa or heading elsewhere to start, he needs to be accurate for anyone to be interested.
Not a lot has been expected of Ryan Griffin and he has delivered a 36 passer rating.
The quarterbacks need to look better this week.
