Wide Receiver Depth

We know the first three wide receivers to open the depth chart.  Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson and Adam Humphries are firmly entrenched in their roles.  But who is going to make the depth chart behind them?  Do we really know yet?  We don’t.  Nobody has stepped up to the plate and taken the job.

After week one, it looked like it might be Russell Shepard, but he didn’t look great against the Jaguars, including one big drop deep in Jacksonville territory.  Many have been excited to see Kenny Bell perform, yet he hasn’t posted a reception so far.  He also fumbled a kickoff, not raising his stock as a special teams player.

The depth chart needs to get filled out.  Will it be Bell, Donteea Dye, or Russell Shepard?  Could someone else step up?  We need to find out soon.
