Major Wright

With the returns of Chris Conte and Keith Tandy as well as the drafting of Ryan Smith, Major Wright was already in danger of being replaced.  To make things worse, he has not stood out in practice or either of the previous two preseason games.

Wright is yet another Bears cast-off brought in by Lovie Smith to run the “Tampa 2” that Lovie supposedly ran while here.  He’s also one of the top candidates to lose his job in Mike Smith‘s system as his inconsistent and underwhelming play makes him expendable.

If we don’t see a major improvement in Major Wright against Cleveland, he may not make it to week four of the preseason.
